🥞 Are You a BIG Breakfast Vacation Person?

Hey Reader, It's Throwback Tuesday, and today we're talking about my favorite meal of the day... BREAKFAST. ☕🥞🍳 I love food in general, but when I'm traveling? Breakfast just hits differently. And Key Largo has some pretty fantastic ways to start the day. 👉 Check out my guide to the Best Breakfast Restaurants in Key Largo here: I Have a Vacation Breakfast PhilosophyAt home, breakfast might be quick. But on vacation? I want the good stuff. Give me eggs, potatoes, something sweet, plenty of coffee and absolutely NO reason to rush away from the table. Because you have a big day ahead of you! Maybe you're snorkeling. Maybe you're heading out on the water. Maybe you're continuing down the Overseas Highway toward Key West. Or maybe your entire itinerary consists of finding a lounge chair. All excellent choices. 😎 Key Largo Understands BreakfastThis is one of the reasons I love eating my way through the Upper Keys. You can find old-school diners with big portions, Cuban coffee, waterfront breakfasts, healthier options and some seriously tempting local specialties. And then there's Harriette's. Those muffins deserve their own category. 😂 Key Lime. Guava cream cheese. Key Lime Chocolate. How are you supposed to choose ONE? This is precisely the kind of difficult decision I am willing to make on vacation. Here's My Rule...If you have a favorite local breakfast spot when you're traveling, GO. Skip the drive-thru. Sit down. Order the coffee. Try the thing they're known for. Breakfast can be part of the vacation instead of something you grab on the way to the vacation. And if a giant muffin happens to be involved? Even better. Quick QuestionWhat's your vacation breakfast personality? 🥞 Go BIG. Pancakes, eggs, potatoes... bring it all. ☕ Coffee first.
