🥂 Best Brunch in Key West (Because Breakfast Deserves Cocktails)

Hey Reader,

It’s Throwback Tuesday, and today we’re talking about one of my favorite meals in Key West…

BRUNCH. 🍳🍹

Because in Key West, brunch isn’t just breakfast + lunch… it’s a full-on experience. It’s coffee, it’s mimosas, it’s “should we just stay here all day?” energy.

Why Brunch Hits Different in Key West

Let’s paint the picture…

🌴 You’re sitting outside under the palms
☕ Coffee in one hand, mimosa (or bloody mary) in the other
🍳 And something delicious is on the way

Yeah… this is why we brunch.

This post has a mix of iconic spots and local favorites — places you’ve probably heard of, and a few you’ll wish you knew about sooner.

A Few That Always Come Up

  • Blue Heaven — the classic. Roosters, outdoor seating, and shrimp benedict dreams
  • Bagatelle — brunch on Duval with people-watching and lobster mac & cheese
  • The Breakfast Club, Too — all-day brunch and a Bloody Mary lineup that deserves its own fan club
  • Pepe’s — historic, hearty, and strong coffee since forever

And honestly… the island is packed with good brunch spots. Even locals will argue about which one is “the best.” 😄

My Honest Take…

Brunch in Key West isn’t rushed.

It’s:
🍹 One drink turning into two
🌞 Sitting longer than you planned
😎 And fully embracing island time

Your Turn…

Are you a:
🥂 Bottomless mimosa person?
🍳 Eggs benedict with a view person?
🥞 Or “I came for pancakes and stayed for cocktails” person?

Hit reply and tell me your go-to brunch spot — I’m always adding to my list (for research, obviously 😄).

Until next Tuesday, stay brunchy, stay sunny, and always keep it Key West-y. 🌴🍳

Cheers,
