Let’s Talk Strategy…

You could just wander into a random bar and hope for the best…
OR… you could know exactly where to go when the drinks are flowing and the apps are discounted. 🍤🍹

Most places run happy hour somewhere in that 4–6(ish) window, with deals on drinks and small plates that are actually worth showing up early for.

And yes — some places are so popular, if you show up late… you’re paying full price and watching everyone else win. 😅

A Few Spots That Always Come Up

• Boat House Bar & Grill — waterfront views + solid happy hour deals = always a good idea
• Kaya Island Eats — great food, fun vibe, and happy hour that locals love
• Sunset Tiki Bar — because drinks + sunset = obvious win
• Surly Siren Saloon — laid-back, a little edgy, and great for a casual stop
• Schooner Wharf Bar — live music, island vibes, and a place you may not leave quickly

You’ll find everything from half-off small plates to discounted drinks and oysters depending on where you land.

My Honest Take…

Happy hour in Key West isn’t just about saving a few bucks (although… yes please).

It’s about:
🌴 Slowing down
🍹 Sitting by the water
🎶 Listening to live music
😎 And accidentally staying longer than you planned
