Hey Reader, Have you ever found yourself somewhere that made you stop and think... "This feels a little like Key West." π΄ That's exactly what happened when I spent some time exploring Disney's Old Key West Resort. I had so much fun wandering around looking for all the little nods the Imagineers tucked into the resort. Some are obvious... others are easy to miss unless you've spent time wandering the real streets of Key West. Have you been there? Except I didn't realize that every time I advanced the presentation... my microphone muted itself. π€¦π€π So yes... Take one. Take two. And finally... take three was the charm. The answer was Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, tucked away on the grounds of the Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea. One of the things I love most about Key West is that some of its most meaningful places aren't the busiest attractions. The grotto is one of those quiet little corners where history, faith, and community all come together. After the devastating 1919 hurricane, Sister Louis Gabriel led the effort to create the grotto as a place of prayer and thanksgiving. More than a century later, it's still there, offering visitors a peaceful place to pause and reflect.
