The answer was the parrotfish! 🐠 I think this might be one of my favorite Key West fun facts. That beautiful white sand we all love between our toes? Some of it started out as coral that passed through a parrotfish! 😄 Not exactly the glamorous origin story you were expecting, right? Besides helping create sand, parrotfish are also superheroes for the reef. They spend their days munching algae, which keeps the coral healthy and gives young coral a chance to grow. So the next time you're snorkeling in the Keys and spot one of these colorful fish, give it a little silent thank-you. It's helping keep the reef healthy and making tomorrow's beach one bite at a time. 🌈🏝️ ❓ This Week's Trivia QuestionHere's one for the rum lovers...
