I don’t know about you, but I am officially in the holiday spirit — and to keep that sleigh ride going, I’m sharing a few tropical-inspired treats and sips you can bring to your next gathering (or just sneak for yourself, no judgment).
🎄 Let’s talk dessert first (obviously!) You’ve got to try these Key Lime Chocolate Chip Snowball Cookies. They’re easy to make, super cute on a holiday plate, and just the right mix of sweet and citrusy. Plus, I don’t trust a cookie that doesn’t crumble. And if you need a little frozen bite after all that feasting? These Mini Frozen Key Lime Pies are perfect. Bite-sized bliss that stores like a dream — make them ahead, and thank yourself later.
🍸 Feeling festive? Let’s spike it up a notch. In the cocktail section of the site, you’ll find some holiday-worthy drinks that are sure to bring the cheer. 🎁 Now for our trivia fun… Last week’s question had us sweating just reading it: What’s the hottest recorded temperature in Key West? Answer: 97°F — hit on both July 19, 1880 and August 29, 1956! A few of you were pretty close — and I even got a few guesses that made me laugh. Y’all never disappoint!
⛵️ This week’s trivia question: There’s a little island just off of Key West called Wisteria Island… but locals know it by a different name. What is it? (Hint: it fits perfectly with this week’s theme 🎄)
