π Summer Isn't Over Until the Blender Says So πΉ

Hey Reader, It's Throwback Tuesday, and I have officially decided something... Summer isn't over until we say it's over. ππΉ Yes, September is here. Yes, pumpkin spice is probably lurking around every corner. But my backyard tiki bar is NOT ready to surrender just yet. So today, we're pulling out the blender and making one of my favorite warm-weather treats: Homemade Strawberry Daiquiris. ππ΄ π Check out my homemade Strawberry Daiquiri Mix here: Skip the BottleHere's what I love about this recipe... Making your own strawberry daiquiri mix is ridiculously easy. Strawberries. Sugar. Water. Fresh lime juice. πβπ© Blend it together and you've got your own homemade mix ready for the refrigerator. And because you're making it yourself, you know exactly what's going into it. Then Comes the Fun Part...When it's cocktail time, I use the mix with light rum, dark rum, a little pineapple juice and plenty of ice. Blend. Pour. Find a sunny spot. Pretend you're in Key West. π And if you have a Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker? This is absolutely the time to pull that baby out. But Here's the Sneaky Part...You don't HAVE to turn the mix into a cocktail. You can add some to a smoothie. Spoon a little over oatmeal. Or make a frozen strawberry drink without the rum. Although I'll admit... Mine usually doesn't survive long enough to make it to the oatmeal. π Quick QuestionAre you ready for fall... π Bring on the pumpkin spice! π Absolutely NOT. I'm still making frozen drinks. π΄ I'm mentally in Key West year-round, so seasons are irrelevant. Hit reply and tell me which camp you're in.
